Only 2km from the Auberge, take the time to enjoy this jewel from the past, a 300-year-old forest now owned by the inn.


Quebec museum of Folk Culture & Old Prison

You won’t want to miss "Québec, Crimilally Speaking", an exhibition about Québec’s criminal history, the "Maeva Odyssey", a youth adventure exhibition, and "Journey to the Great Beyond: Mortuary Practices in Québec".

Adjoining the Québec Museum of Folk Culture, the Old Prison of Trois-Rivières, classified as a historic monument, offers an experience visit "in PRISON!"

Moulin seigneurial de Pointe-du-Lac

Built in 1765, the Moulin seigneurial de Pointe-du-Lac is one of Québec’s architectural jewels. This site has preserved the charm and warm ambiance from the past. You will enjoy an unforgettable experience.

Classified a historic monument, the Mill is one of the buildings from its time that is still in working order.

Beside the mill, you can visit l’Église de la Visitation-de-la-Sainte-Vierge the second church in Pointe-du-Lac, destroyed by fire in 1882, was rebuilt on the walls of the previous one erected in 1844. It contains sculptures from Léo Arbour, one of Canada’s great sacred artists

Musée des Ursulines

Come to a more than three hundred year-old place and immerse yourself in the life of the Ursulines. Moving testimonials of a time not so long ago when walls surrounded the Ursulines Monastery, when praying, teaching and caring for the sick were an integral part of these nuns’ daily lives.

Discover their chapel surmounted by a dome, now an Old Trois-Rivières landmark, and let yourself be inspired by their ethnographic collection bearing witness to an active monastic life.

Forges-du-Saint-Maurice National Historic Site

Not only Canada’s first iron industry, but also its first industrial village, that is the Forges du Saint-Maurice National Historic Site's very essence.

On the shore of the Saint-Maurice River and bordered by a brook, the Forges combines cultural and natural treasures. In the Grande Maison it is possible to enter the universe of this original industrial community. The blast furnace reveals the mystery of iron-making. The archaeological remains are witnesses of this era where life of the whole community centered on the intense iron production.

Located in the former filtration plant of the Canadian International Paper Company (CIP) in Trois-Rivières, BORÉALIS shows the human face of the paper industry: a unique encounter between man and machine. The museum pays tribute to the thousands of lumberjacks, log drivers and workers who dedicated their lives to their job

Sanctuaire Notre-Dame-du-Cap

Founded in 1888, the Sanctuaire Notre-Dame-du-Cap is the second largest Marian shrine in Canada. Located on the shore of the river, this religious and cultural heritage site is open to visitors year round. They can stroll in the gardens. The historic chapel, built in 1714, and the large basilica with its impressive stained glass are worth the detour. Picnic area, restaurant, gift shop and lodging on-site. Located by the St. Lawrence River.

Wave pool h2o & Karting Trois-Rivières

The biggest wave pool in Québec!

Have fun in the big waves or on the water slides. The water is heated to 82 degrees Fahrenheit. Can welcome more than 1,500 swimmers. Water slides, volleyball court.

Karting Trois-Rivières invites young and old to live some thrills on track, in a safe environment. Three types of go-karts on three different tracks are available for all ages. You can make your adrenalin rush alone or with a group, during a timed race.

Jardins Dugré
